The Member representing Rano, Kibiya, and Bunkure Federal Constituency, Kabiru Alhassan Rurum, visited the newly promoted Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) Shehu Nadada Umar at the Force Headquarters in Abuja.
Rurum, who chairs the House Committee on Airforce, congratulated AIG Nadada Umar on his promotion by the Police Service Commission.
“This promotion reflects your dedication and years of service. I am confident you will continue to contribute to national security,” Rurum said.
In response, AIG Shehu Nadada Umar, who hails from Rano Local Government Area of Kano State, expressed gratitude for the visit.
“I appreciate the visit of Kabiru A. Rurum to FHQ Abuja today. I am deeply grateful. Thank you, Turaki,” AIG Umar said.
