A group, Kano Youth Forum has commended Kano state Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for the reinstatement of Muhammadu Sanusi as the 16th Emir of Kano.
It however expressed support to the Emir and calling on the people to support him for him to succeed.
Sani Uba Kwaru the Publicity Secretary Kano Youth Forum in a briefing in Kano said “We believe that Emir Sanusi’s reinstatement is in accordance with the law that was assented to and approved by the Kano State House of Assembly Kano State Emirate Council Amendment Law (Repeal Bill) 2024 is a blessing and victory for the people of Kano, and we look forward to his continued leadership and wisdom as the most decent Emir of Kano State.”
“We commended Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State for his courageous decision to reinstate Emir Sanusi II, demonstrating his commitment to justice, fairness, and the well-being of the people of Kano State.
As the case is currently before the court, we urge all citizens of Kano to remain peaceful and law-abiding. We call on everyone to support His Excellency.”
