The Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF), Kano State Chapter, has presented N1million to Nafisa Abdullahi-Aminu, winner of the Teen Eagle Global Finals English competition held in London.
The Chairman, Board of Trustees of the forum, Alhaji Bashir Dalhatu, presented the cheque on behalf of the ACF Kano in recognition of Nafisa’s talent and achievement.
Dalhatu said the gesture was meant to encourage her and inspire other young students across the region.
In a related development, the ACF Kano Chairman, Dr. Goni Farouk Umar, also presented an award of recognition to Mr Farouk Gumel,who was recently appointed Chairman of Botswana’s Sovereign Wealth Fund.
He described Gumel as a young Nigerian pathfinder in business is conquering new frontiers in Africa and the world at large.
Umar further disclosed that Zenith Bank had donated N5 million each, through the ACF, to all three Nigerian winners of the global competition.
