The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Kano State Council, has congratulated Ahmed Mu’azu on his appointment as Technical Assistant (Media) at the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).
This is contained in a statement issued on Wednesday in Kano by the Council Chairman, Comrade Suleiman Abdullahi Dederi.
Dederi described Mu’azu’s appointment as well-deserved, noting that it reflects the recognition of professionalism and dedication within the media industry.
He said Mu’azu, an indigene of Kano State, had served in the Public Affairs Unit of NAHCON’s Media Department, where he demonstrated exceptional creativity and commitment to public communication.
“The Council is proud of Mr. Mu’azu’s elevation to this strategic role, which brings honour to the journalism community in Kano State,” the statement read in part.
It added that the NUJ Council was confident that Mu’azu’s wealth of experience would further enhance NAHCON’s media engagement and strengthen its public relations efforts.
The Council also urged him to continue upholding the values of integrity, excellence and service in his new assignment.
