With deep sorrow and a heavy heart, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Kano Sector Command mourns the passing of a distinguished elder statesman and highly revered traditional leader, Galadiman Kano, Alhaji Abbas Sunusi, who passed away on April 1, 2025.
The Sector Commander of the FRSC Kano Sector Command, CC Umar Masa’udu Matazu, on behalf of the Corps Marshal, Malam Shehu Mohammed, mni, and the entire officers and marshals of the command, extends heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, the Kano Emirate Council, and the good people of Kano State.
The late Galadiman Kano, Alhaji Abbas Sunusi, was a man of great wisdom, integrity, and service, whose invaluable contributions to the development of Kano State and the nation will forever be remembered.
His leadership, dedication to peace, and commitment to the welfare of the people have left an indelible mark on society.
We join millions of well-wishers in praying to Almighty Allah (SWT) to forgive his shortcomings, accept his good deeds, and grant him Aljannatul Firdausi.
We also pray that Allah, in His infinite mercy, grants his family, the Emirate Council, and the people of Kano the strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
