The Brigade Zumunci Association, in collaboration with the FRAMAZAZ Foundation, has trained 50 youths in digital entrepreneurship and basic business skills.
The two-day training brought together participants from different parts of the Brigade community to equip them with practical skills for self-reliance and socioeconomic development.
The training focused on digital entrepreneurship and basic business skills, providing participants with knowledge on how to establish and manage small-scale businesses.
At the end of the programme, the 50 participants were presented with certificates of participation.
The Chairperson of the event, Amb. Nana Aisha, said the partnership between FRAMAZAZ Foundation and Brigade Zumunci Association was borne out of a shared commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and communities.
She urged the participants to put the knowledge acquired into practice by establishing productive ventures that would improve their livelihoods and contribute to socioeconomic development.
The Chairman of Brigade Zumunci Association, Prof. Muhammed Atiku, pledged the continued support of the association for the younger generation.
Atiku said the association would continue to explore initiatives aimed at helping youths achieve their aspirations.
Some participants expressed appreciation for the opportunity, saying the skills acquired would help them pursue their entrepreneurial goals.
The organisers also pledged to provide start-up packages in subsequent editions of the training.
They described the programme as the association’s first initiative of its kind.
