The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has sensitized the general public against overloading trailers with animals, goods, and passengers to enhance road safety and prevent avoidable crashes.
The State FRSC Sector Commander, Masa’udu Matazu, disclosed this in a statement issued by the Command’s Public Relations Officer (PRO), Abdullahi Labaran, on Friday in Kano.
He said drivers and transport operators need to adhere to strict compliance with safety regulations.
According to the statement, “FRSC will not tolerate violations of traffic laws, especially those that endanger lives.
“We will continue to promote road safety awareness and enforce strict compliance to prevent further tragedies,”he said.
Matazu urged road users to cooperate with authorities and adopt safe transportation practices for the collective well-being of all. (NAN)
