Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has promoted his Aid De Camp (ADC), Sanusi Abubakar, and Escort Commander, Rabiu Shitu, to the rank of Superintendent of Police (SP).
The promotion ceremony took place at the Government House in Kano, with the Commissioner of Police, CP Dogo Salman, in attendance.
Governor Yusuf praised the two officers for their diligence and commitment to service, describing them as having a promising future.
He urged them to rededicate themselves to protecting life and property, reminding them that their new rank comes with additional responsibilities.
Sanusi Abubakar, the ADC, expressed his gratitude to the Governor, saying he was honored and privileged by the promotion.
He pledged to renew his loyalty to serving the nation and redouble his efforts in his new role.
The promotion is a recognition of the officers’ hard work and dedication to service, and is expected to boost their morale and motivation.
