A delegation from Masallaci Special Primary School (MSPS) Kano, Class of 1982, has paid a courtesy visit to the management of Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University, Kano (KHAIRUN).
Leading the delegation, Engr. Magaji Hussaini expressed their delight in visiting KHAIRUN to congratulate one of their own, Prof. Abdulrashid Garba, on his appointment as the university’s pioneer Vice-Chancellor.
A statement signed by the university’s Head of Corporate Affairs and Marketing Department, Bilal Dahiru Tijjani, said the delegation commended the university’s remarkable achievements and wished it a continued success.
Engr. Hussaini also called for Prof. Garba’s support in improving government schools, particularly in enhancing infrastructure to create a better learning environment, especially for the poor.
In his response, the Vice chancellor of the university, Professor Abdulrashid Garba appreciated the association’s commitment to supporting education across Kano State.
He emphasized the importance of sustaining efforts to maintain and improve schools, ensuring that they will fulfil their intended purpose.
He further reiterated that education is a collective responsibility and assured that KHAIRUN remains dedicated to playing its roles in advancing learning and development.
