By Andrew Ojih,  Jalingo.

Following the visit of governor Agbu Kefas to Taraba state Polytechnic and its pronouncement for the  relocation of the institution to the Permanent site in Suntai is now causing    ripples as management and Students have rejected the decision to that effect.

Some students and management who reacted shortly after the governor departed from the school expressed worried that the decision does not go down well with them.

A Senior staff in the polytechnic,  Dr P. K while speaking to journalists expressed fear that their security to relocate to the new site  not granted.

“This decision to move the institution from here in Jalingo to the Suntai is not good decision for we staff, we all know the current insecurity in Taraba state.

Imagine,  few days ago,  over fifty eight people were killed in Binnari community,  Binnari is a typical village like Suntai where the governor has perfected arrangements to relocate the institution too.

Beside in Suntai campus,  they are no befitting houses or structures that both Students and management can stay comfortably” he said.

He urged to the governor to reconsider his decision of relocating  the institution for the protection of staff  and students.

Also speaking,  a student from one of the department who pleaded annormity charged governor Kefas to tell Tarabans while he choosed to relocate the institution at this critical time that insecurity is over.

“Our parents value us, it is inhuman to for the governor to play with our lives. Our security is not sure in Suntai” he cried out.

The Rector of the institution,  Dr Amos Danlami said the position of the government remained his position.
