Mr Abdulkadir Turajo, the Commander of the agency in the state, said this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), on Monday in Dutse.
He said the campaign aims to combat human trafficking, child labor and sexual exploitation through awareness creation and educating the students on how to identify and report suspected traffickers and abusers.
“The campaigns focus on teaching the students on how to recognise signs of trafficking and sexual abuse, thereby encouraging them to speak up.
“Our main goals is to reduce the vulnerability of young people to traffickers often exacerbated by ignorance among young persons, including students,” he said.
Turajo also warned traffickers to stay clear of the state, stressing that culprits would be prosecuted.
“The command is sending a strong warning to traffickers within and outside the state, who wish to use the state as a source, route or destination for their illicit activities to desist from doing so.
“We have a mandate and we shall discharge it fully for the overall good of the state and the nation at large,” he said.
