
The National Orientation Agency (NOA), Kano State, has flagged-off sensitization campaign on national anthem and national value Charter across the state.
The Acting Director NOA Kano, Alhaji Rabi’u Ado, flagged off the campaign on Thursday in Kano.
According to him, NOA is now more than ever before ready to take the campaign on National Anthem and the Charter Value to the grassroots.
He pointed out that people at all levels should rally behind the ongoing campaign with a view to move Nigeria forward.
“The aim of the program is to re-orientate and redirect Nigerians, regardless of class, ethnicity, or religion toward the values and principles that have long been associated with our culture and have been the foundation of our institutions and society”
He said the Federal Government has resolved to back up the campaign with all necessary support for it to succeed.
“The Introduction of the New National Anthem and the National Values Charter ushers in an important milestone for national pride and identity.
“This action reflects the changing ideals and aspirations of the nation” Ado said
He hinted that the national Value Charter was aimed at bringing unity and national development without nepotism or discrimination.
“NOA is committed to instilling discipline and equality among Nigerians”
Ado appealed to the state and local governments to extend necessary support for the campaign to succeed in clearing social ills such as corruption and bribery.
