The Deputy Speaker of Taraba state House of Assembly, Rt Hon Hamman Adama Ibinlla on Friday applauded Taraba state governor, Dr Agbu Kefas for ending Kidnapping, banditry and other forms of criminalities in the state.
Adama who stated this while speaking to journalists in Jalingo said before the coming of governor Kefas, residents hardly sleep with their two eyes closed.
“We are all leaving witness, before governor Kefas came onboard, residents of Jalingo and its environs were facing serious security problems.
But immediately he assumed office, the first assignment he embarked upon was an effort to bring kidnapping, boundary, herders and farmers crisis and other forms of criminalities to their knees” he said.
He maintained that Kefes within the three years of administration has released over 20 billion naira for the construction of Bali General Hospital, completion of Bali Dakka Pamanga Road, Government lodge among others in his constituency.
“No doubt, this man has done a lot for us as people, apart from my local government area, he has touched every nooks and crannies of the state.
“Our road linking Pamanga Dakka was abandoned for years, but within three years of his administration, he graciously approved twenty billion for the completion of the road, construction of our general hospital and government lodge” he said.
He highlighted that all sons and daughters of Chamba nation have unanimously endorsed governor Kefas for second term.
“As at three years ago, you dare not pass through Dakka Pamanga Road, kidnapping was everywhere, people were afraid of being killed or kidnapped, but today Dr Agbu Kefas has end both kidnapping and others” he added.
He stressed that governor Kefas has within three years of his administration performed above average.
