A highly experienced and respected media Icon in Taraba state, Mr Ben Adaji has died at the age 67 years .
Adaji, passed away around 4pm on Saturday at his Country home in Abo- Ojikpadala in Imane District in Olamaboro Local Government Area of Kogi state.
Adaji until his unfortunate death, he worked with The News Magazine, the Nation, National Trial and current the correspondent of Al Jazeera Nigeria Newspaper in Taraba state.
The late Veteran journalist was also once the Chairman of the Taraba State Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigerian Union of Journalists, (NUJ) Taraba state chapter.
Adaji held the revered traditional title of Abujah of Oda Ojiji Imane in the Imane community of Olamaboro Local Government Area of Kogi state.
During his reign, he was widely recognized for his efforts in promoting cultural heritage and community development.
Following his commitment to journalism profession, he built a distinguished career for several decades.
The late Adaji earned a reputation for ethical reporting, professional integrity, and mentoring young journalists.
A practising journalist and a blood brother to late Mr Ben Adaji, Mr Andrew Ojih of the Blueprint Newspaper expressed sadness over the sudden dismissed of the media Icon.
He noted that late Adaji’s death was a loss to Taraba state and the Country at large.
Ojih decribed the late media guru as a humble, hardworking, and committed journalist whose value and experience shaped the media space in Taraba state and beyond.
