The “Tinubu Must Go Again” (TMGA) group has held a grand rally in Damaturu, Yobe State, in support of the reflection bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The rally was organised by the group’s National Coordinator, Prof. Sheriff Almuhajir, to mobilise support for Tinubu and other APC candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Speaking at the event on Saturday, Almuhajir said the rally was aimed at galvanising grassroots support for the President’s second-term ambition and strengthening the party’s chances in the forthcoming elections.

He commended participants for maintaining peace and order throughout the event, describing their conduct as a demonstration of political maturity and commitment to party unity.

The coordinator expressed confidence that Yobe would remain united in support of Tinubu’s re-election and the electoral success of other APC candidates in 2027.

Dignitaries at the rally included the Secretary to the Yobe Government, Dr. Muhammad Goje; the State Coordinator of the group, Dr. Muktar Yerima; and the Chairman of Coalition of Yobe APC Political Organisations (COYAPO), Mr Bature Goneri.

Others were the APC State Youth Leader, Mohammed Gulani; Director-General of the Yobe State Agency for Substance Use Prevention, Drug Abuse Control, Treatment and Rehabilitation, Alhaji Baba Shehu; and a former member representing Potiskum Central, Abdullahi Adamu Bazuwa.

Our correspondent reports that the event highlighted the movement’s commitment to grassroots mobilisation and political engagement ahead of the 2027 general elections.
