Alhaji Munir Sanusi Bayero, the newly appointed District Head of Bichi, has officially assumed office, reaffirming his loyalty to the Emir of Kano, Khalifa Muhammadu Sanusi II.
In his inaugural speech, Wamban Kano highlighted Bichi’s historical significance as a stronghold of the Kano Emirate, recalling the deep-rooted ties of past Emirs, including Emir Abdullahi Bayero and Khalifa Sir Muhammadu Sanusi.
Alhaji Munir expressed gratitude to Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II for the trust bestowed upon him and acknowledged the Emir’s unwavering support throughout his journey.
He emphasized loyalty, unity, and solidarity among the royal house, while cautioning against internal divisions and external influences.
As the District Head of Bichi, Alhaji Munir pledged to prioritize education, employment, and welfare programs, upholding Emir Sanusi II’s vision.
He also thanked Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for restoring the Emirate’s dignity and advancing education in Kano State.
