Some stakeholders of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Taraba state on Sunday lamented that they face daily mockery from other opposition parties over poor performance of the administration of governor Agbu Kefas in the state.
A PDP stakeholders from Barde ward in Jalingo local government, Alh Aljazi Jalingo while speaking to journalists in Jalingo warned that if the PDP led administration under governor Kefas continued with his poor performance, the Apc or any other political party may clinch the seat of power come 2027 in the state.
“Let me tell you, I have been in PDP since 1999, I have never changed to any other party, but with my age and my position in the PDP, I can’t continue to cue behind those who knew that Kefas performance is poor and continue sing praises to him.
It is time to let him know to wake up, all is not well with the government of Kefas, his surrounded by sycophants that are not telling him the truth but wish him to fail” he said.
He stressed that the governor for over two years of his administration has not initiated nor construct ever a three kilometer road in the state.
“Like my area where I leave here in Jalingo, members of other political parties mock me everyday, they question my continue quest to remain in the PDP knowing fully well that governor Kefes is not performing” he explained
Also, a stalwart of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) from Gassol LGA of the state, Mallam Sansi Sandara urged governor Kefas Agbu to as a matter of urgency sack non-performing commissioners in his administration.
He hinted that the inability of the governor to appoint competent commissioners responsible for the poor performance.
Let me tell the whole world that most of the Commissioners working with the governor are incompetent, they are only good in taking snapshot and post them of Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp among others.
“Let me tell you, this crop of Commissioners don’t know their job; they need to go for competent professionals.
We thought the choice of appointing youths into governance by the governor was a good thing, but not knowing that they don’t know the importance attached to the office of a commissioner.
“The state cannot continue this way, we are backward, Therefore, the governor should hear us and relieve those that are not doing well to enable sons and daughters of state and members of the PDP gets what they will use to campaign come 2027.
